Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. Introduction

StoreKit (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the StoreKit platform and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform as a merchant or as a customer shopping at a StoreKit-powered store.

By using StoreKit, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use our services.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account information: Name, email address, password when you register as a merchant.
  • Store information: Store name, description, logo, contact details, and other store configuration you provide.
  • Product information: Product names, descriptions, images, prices, and inventory data you upload.
  • Payment information: We do not store raw card numbers. Payments are processed by Razorpay or Stripe, which are PCI-DSS compliant.
  • Communications: Messages you send us via the contact form or support chat.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns on our platform.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and access timestamps.
  • Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and preference cookies to remember your settings.

2.3 Customer data on behalf of merchants

When customers shop at a merchant's StoreKit store, we collect their name, email, shipping address, and order details on behalf of the merchant. Merchants are the data controllers for their customers' information. We act as a data processor.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the StoreKit platform.
  • To process transactions and send related information (receipts, order confirmations).
  • To send transactional and promotional communications — you may opt out of promotional emails at any time.
  • To monitor and analyse usage patterns to improve our services.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

  • Service providers: Trusted third parties who help us operate the platform (payment processors, hosting providers, email delivery services). These providers are contractually bound to handle data securely.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to users.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Merchants can delete their store and account from the settings page. We retain certain data for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax and accounting laws.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@inventipro.com.

7. Cookies

StoreKit uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies to understand platform usage. You can disable optional cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect core platform functionality.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive fields, regular security audits, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — if you discover a security issue, please report it to support@inventipro.com.

9. Children's privacy

StoreKit is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use of StoreKit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
